New eBook format – PRC

We are now able to convert PRC (Mobipocket) to EPUB, FB2, MOBI, PDF, TXT, LIT. Unfortunately at this we do not offer PRC (Mobipocket) as output file type.


New video formats

We added several AVCHD video formats to the list of supported file types. As of today you can convert .m2t, .m2ts and .mts to all common video types

Bugs fixed – video sharing websites

There were some problems with downloading flash videos from YouKu and KeezMovies. It seems like the site owners made some changes on the layouts and ConvertFiles was unable to detect the exact location of the flash videos. Our developers made the necessary updates and everything is working fine now.


New feature – extracting thumbnails from a video file is now able to extract screenshots from your videos. By selecting “Extracted thumbnails (.jpg)” as output format you will get a ZIP file containing JPGs extracted from the video. We are currently making one JPG on every 10 seconds.

Bug fixed – PDF to image

During the move to our new servers we’ve blocked somehow all conversions from PDF to PNG and JPG. Problem is fixed now and you can continue converting PDF files. I have also some very good news regarding PDF conversions. Soon you will be able to convert PDF to DOC


Problems with YouTube

We just found a little bug making some of the converted YouTube files with much lower quality than the ones played on the site. We are trying to solve this problem ASAP
